OAKLYN, N.J. (CBS) -- A 24-year-old South Jersey woman was being held on murder charges today after the stabbing last Sunday of a man she met that day in his home.
Shakeysha Pruitt is charged with stabbing 33-year-old Kafar Logan-Horton on Sunday afternoon inside his home in Oaklyn, NJ. According to investigators, Pruitt grew angry with Logan-Horton as the two were getting ready to leave his home, went to the kitchen of the home and grabbed a knife, stabbed him twice in the chest, then rode with him to a local hospital while a friend of the victim drove.
Officials say Pruitt left the hospital before identifying herself and Logan-Horton died a few hours after being brought in.
Pruitt was arrested at her parents' home in West Berlin, NJ on Tuesday afternoon.
