Officials: Deadly Fire In Chester Was Accidental

CHESTER, Pa., (CBS) - Officials say last week's two-alarm house fire that claimed the lives of three children in Chester was accidental (see previous story).

On Tuesday, officials announced that the fire started in the kitchen on top of the stove.

The fire claimed the lives of two girls, identified as six-year-old Bella McKnight and nine-year-old Amajahy Ferguson by sources, and a four-year-old little boy, identified as Moses McKnight.

Officials say two adults and three other children were rescued from the home.

Five firefighters were also among the injured.

The Delaware County Fire Marshall's Office say smoke detectors were in the home and working at the time the fire started.
