Police: $6,000 In Items Stolen From Camden School

CAMDEN, N.J., (CBS) – Authorities are searching for two suspects who they say stole $6,000 in items from a Camden school overnight Friday.

The incident happened at about 1:48 a.m. at East Camden Middle School on Stevens Street.

Camden County Police say two suspects broke into the school through a gated window and made off with six specialized mountain bikes, an overhead projector, three computers and a keyboard and amplifier.

Authorities say the items stolen are worth more than $6,000.

Surveillance cameras inside the school recorded the suspects, who police say appear to be juveniles dressed in dark hooded clothing. They appear to have spent at least 45 minutes inside the school.
