Police: Malnourished 1-Year-Old Removed From Home In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating a possible case of neglect and malnourishment of an infant.

According to officials, a malnourished 1-year-old and a 3-year-old were removed from a home located in the 1500 block of York Street.

The children were taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for evaluation Sunday.

Authorities say the parents are being questioned by SVU.

Officials say no charges have been filed.
