BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) — Fire crews were busy Friday morning battling a fire that severely damaged a popular restaurant in Bucks County.
The fire started at about 6:30 a.m. at the Nifty Fifty’s in the 2000 block of Street Road in Bensalem.
The fire reached two alarms and fire officials say the majority of the fire was located in the roof of the business. The blaze was place under control at about 8:30 a.m.

Bensalem Public Safety Director Fred Harran says they are now trying to determine what ignited the two alarm fire.
“Our Fire Marshal’s Office here is conducting an investigation along with the police department being assisted with the ATF agency out of Philadelphia,” he explained.
Harran says there were no serious injuries reported although some firefighters had to be treated at the scene for heat related ailments.

There is no word on whether the owners will rebuild.
