Firefighters Battle 3-Alarm Blaze In Cheltenham

CHELTENHAM, Pa. (CBS) – Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze at a home in Montgomery County Thursday afternoon.

The fire broke out around 1 p.m. along the 1200 block on Ansley Avenue in Melrose Park, Cheltenham Township.

According to officials, firefighters worked to get hoses to the basement of the large mansion-type dwelling.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene as 75 and 100 firefighters worked to put out the fire.

There have been no reports of injuries.
