4 Injured In Roosevelt Boulevard Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Four people were injured when a car went out of control and struck a utility pole along the Roosevelt Boulevard in North Philadelphia.

The accident happened around 4 a.m. Monday near the 5th Street intersection in the city's Olney section.

Police say four people had to be extricated from the vehicle and all were transported to a local hospital.

One person is listed in critical condition. Another is listed in stable condition. There was no immediate word on the extent of injuries to the two others.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
