Chef Jose Garces To Open Cuban Diner This Fall

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – More Cuban food will soon be coming to Center City.

According to a tweet from Chifa Restaurant, Chef Jose Garces' Peruvian/Cantonese fusion restaurant at 707 Chestnut Street, the restaurant will be closing up shop to make way for a new concept.

Chifa's last day of service will be sooner than expected – July 13, 2013.

The tweet also says that a new "Cuban diner concept" will open in the space this fall.
