Delaware Man Receives 6th DUI After Crashing Into Ditch

FELTON, Del. (CBS) – Police say a Delaware man has been charged with his sixth DUI after crashing his truck Saturday.

According to officials, 51-year-old Vincent Ware, of Felton, was ejected from his 2001 Ford F150 after crashing into a ditch on Turkey Point Road.

Police say Ware was driving at about 7:40 p.m. when his vehicle swerved off the right side of the road, returned and then swerved off the left side of the road before striking the side of a ditch.

Authorities say Ware was taken to Kent General Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries and released.

He has been committed to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center and charged with DUI, careless driving and related offenses.
