Fire Causes $400K In Damage To Topless Bar In Delaware
SMYRNA, Del. (AP) — The Delaware state fire marshal's office says arson is to blame for the blaze that destroyed a topless bar in Smyrna.
The fire broke out just before 5 a.m. Thursday at the Fairways Inn on DuPont Parkway, near Garrison's Lake.
Firefighters encountered flames shooting from the two-story building, which was closed at the time. No one was injured.
The damage is estimated at $400,000.
State fire investigators announced Friday that the fire at the Fairways Inn was intentionally started, but released few other details.
