2-Year-Old Girl Struck, Killed By Car In Point Breeze
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Authorities say a two-year-old girl was struck and killed by a car in South Philadelphia Wednesday night.
The incident happened at about 8:19 p.m. on the 1200 block of S. 21st Street in the Point Breeze section.
According to Philadelphia Police, a two-year-old girl ran in front of a car. The child was transported to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she was later pronounced dead.
Authorities say the driver stopped and remained on scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
