By: Kim Glovas, Kelly Hessedal, Elizabeth Hur

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say the search will resume Tuesday morning for a 13-year-old boy who went missing in the Pennypack Creek in Northeast Philadelphia Monday afternoon.

According to investigators, two brothers went into the Pennypack Creek off Rhawn Street near Rowland Avenue at about 1:45 p.m.

Authorities say an 11-year-old boy was rescued, but the second boy, identified as 13-year-old Brandon Boyle, was unable to get out of the water.

Brandon's father tells Eyewitness News Brandon is still missing and his younger brother, Anthony, was brought to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with bumps and bruises.

Rescue crews spent hours searching for the 13-year-old boy, but said they made the switch from rescue to recovery.

Authorities say the operation was suspended on Monday because of the swift running water.

Police will resume the search on Tuesday morning.
