5 Injured When Car Crashes Through NJ Bagel Shop

BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (CBS) - Authorities say five people are hurt after a car crashed through a front window of a bagel shop in Burlington County, New Jersey Sunday morning.

This happened around 10 a.m. at Bordentown Bagels on Mission Road.

All of the people who were injured were customers, according to authorities. The driver is said to be a regular at the store as well. She was reportedly disoriented, telling the shop owner she's not sure exactly how it happened.

"She said she pulled into the parking lot and next thing you know she was in the middle of the store." owner Marie Duven said. "So loud and it happened just instantly and before you know it there was people down and glass everywhere and everything everywhere."

This isn't the first time they've had to rebuild. A car came through the very same window 15 years ago.
