Cops: Customer Robs Restaurant After Finishing Meal

NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware say a customer robbed a restaurant after finishing his meal Thursday night.

The incident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. at the Bugaboo Creek Steak House, located in the 1300 block of Churchmans Road in Newark.

According to officials, after receiving the check upon finishing his meal, the suspect went up to a bartender at the bar, implied he had a gun and demanded money.

Police say the suspect fled in an unknown direction after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect has been described as a 20 to 30-year-old, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-11, 140-170 pound black male. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants.

No one was injured.
