1 Sibling Killed, Sister Injured In Chester Shooting


CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) – Investigators say one sibling was killed and another injured in a double shooting Friday morning in Delaware County.

The incident occurred at about 10:15 a.m. at 9th Street and Keystone Road in Chester, Pennsylvania.

According to police, a 21-year-old man was shot in the head and died from his injuries. The victim's 21-year-old sister suffered gunshot wounds to her leg. A third victim inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting was not wounded.

Eyewitnesses at the scene tell police the shots rang out in the area of 10th and Pine Streets and continued to the area of 9th and Keystone Streets where the suspect's vehicle fled east.

Several parked vehicles in the area were also damaged during the incident.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting remains under investigation.
