Storms Bring Outages, Flooding

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – After another afternoon and evening of storms, PECO is reporting outages in the Philadelphia area and a Bucks County roadway is flooded.
In terms of power outages, Delaware County is reportedly the hardest hit, with 1,600 customers without power. About 1,200 of those are in Norwood Borough.
The rest of the nearly 2,800 total outages as of 7 p.m. are scattered throughout four other counties in Pennsylvania.
And in Bucks County, Warwick Police tweeted that Mearns Road north of Bristol Road is closed due to flooding. Creek Road is also closed.
A tree is also reportedly blocking the road at Prospect Hill and Mt. Pleasant Roads in Lower Merion.
