1 Dead, 1 Injured Following Accident On Lincoln Drive
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Germantown.
The crash happened on Lincoln Drive at Morris Street around 4:40 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a Ford Taurus was traveling southbound on Lincoln Drive when the driver lost control and crashed into a white Toyota Tacoma traveling in the opposite direction.
Following the accident, both cars burst into flames, trapping the drivers.
One person, the 19-year-old driver of the Ford Taurus, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a 31-year-old male, was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
