Lung Transplant Patient, Sarah Murnaghan, Responsive
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - There's some good news to report about young lung transplant patient Sarah Murnaghan. She is showing signs of slow progress.
Sarah's mom, Janet, posted an update on Facebook, writing that Sarah is awake and nodding "yes" and "no" to questions.
She is still intubated and frustrated that she can't talk.
Ten-year-old Sarah underwent a double lung transplant a week-and-a-half ago after a judge intervened on her behalf and allowed her to be placed on an adult donor list.
