'Sopranos' Actor From Bucks County Remembers Colleague James Gandolfini

By Hadas Kuznits

NAPLES, Italy (CBS) -- The "mystery man" who appeared in the final episode of The Sopranos today was talking about the death of James Gandolfini.

In a strange coincidence, the man had planned to meet with Gandolfini this week in Italy.

Actor Paolo Colandrea is a local Bucks County pizza shop owner.  Just one day after Gandolfini's death (see related story), we managed to reach Colandrea on his cell phone just after he landed in Italy.

(Kuznits:)  "What do people most ask you about James Gandolfini?"

(Colandrea:)  "If I killed him.  Ha ha.   That's the question that everybody wants to know -- what happened? Everybody asks me the same question."

But now Colandrea is the one asking what happened.   One of the reasons he arrived in Italy this morning was to meet with Gandolfini.

"I'm visiting on vacation -- I had an appointment with James Gandolfini," Colandrea tells KYW Newsradio.  "I had the bad news last night at the (Newark) airport."

Colandrea says he is prohibited from discussing details of his planned meeting, but he could tell us it was business related.  And he says this sudden news seems unreal.

"I'm in shock -- I'm in total shock.  As soon as I get off (the phone) with you and I go home, I need to call my agent because I don't know what's going on."
