Snoop Lion Thinks Michael Vick Should Start For The Eagles

By Spike Eskin

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – DeSean Jackson has chimed in on the Eagles quarterback situation. Chip Kelly has given his thoughts. LeSean McCoy and Evan Mathis have also voiced their opinions. Next in line, clearly Snoop Lion.

The rap star, formerly known as Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus (I just write that because I remember when MTV News did it every five minutes during his murder trial), let his voice be heard regarding who the Eagles starting quarterback should be.

"Vick, Vick, it better be Vick," Snoop said to NFL.COM, as he was interviewed along with DeSean Jackson. "Vick, Vick, Vic(k) Damone Junior."

Jackson, who previously said he thinks Kelly should name a starter before training camp, was a little more measured in his response this time.

"Honestly, having a new coach, Chip Kelly coming in there, he kind of kept everything, you know, open," Jackson said. "I was with the twos, I was with the threes, so you know, I mean it's hard to really tell. He's coming from college, you doesn't care who you [are], you gotta go out there and work hard."

We will keep you updated on the Snoop Lion situation.
