CHALFONT, Pa. (CBS) -- A ten-year-old girl is in good condition today after nearly drowning at a summer camp in Bucks County this morning.
Warrington Township police lieutenant Daniel Friel says the girl jumped into a pool shortly after 11 o'clock, immediately sank to the bottom, came back up and sank again.
An alert lifeguard jumped in and pulled the girl out of the water.
Friel says the girl never lost consciousness and was taken to Abington Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
The incident happened at Camp America, a summer camp located on Lower State Road in the Chalfont section of Warrington Township.
