Poll Shows Americans' Confidence In Congress At All Time Low

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Confidence in Congress has dropped to an all-time low.

A new Gallup poll released on Thursday shows that just 10% of Americans have faith in the United States Congress. That's the lowest level of confidence in Congress Gallup has ever recorded, and the lowest for any institution ever.

This is the fourth straight year Congress has ranked dead last of the 16 institutions on the list.

Seventy-six percent of Americans have a lot of confidence in the military, however, putting it at the top of the list. Small businesses and the police came in second and third respectively.
