NFLPA Selling LGBT Pride T-Shirts With Players Names

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The NFL Players Association is selling t-shirts supporting the LGBT community with the word "#Pride," along with players names and numbers on them.

The merchandise store at NFLPA.com is selling t-shirts with the names of Chris Gocong, Scott Fujita, Brendon Ayanbadejo, Terrell Suggs, Chris Kluwe, Steve Gleason, and Donte Stallworth written on the back.

The shirts feature the NFLPA logo on the front, in rainbow colors.

"Athlete Ally is a proud partner in this effort as the NFLPA makes clear to all of its players that the union supports and welcomes them, regardless of sexual orientation, and to all LGBT fans that they are respected," said Hudson Taylor, the founder of Athlete Ally in a press release.

"I'm extremely proud to be part of this collaboration to raise awareness both of Pride Month and the issue of tolerance and respect within the NFL itself," Kluwe said in the release. "Also, I'm pretty stoked that people can buy something with my number on it," he added.
