Couples Struggle With DVR Infidelity

By Michelle Durham

PHILADELPHIA (CBS)  --  There seems to be a growing trend among couples who DVR their favorite TV programs, both promise the other they won't watch it until they are together but will sneak and watch it anyway.

This scathing behavior happening may be rearing its head in our area.

Opinions are mixed, and those who have engaged in this behavior had as much to say as those who haven't

Take Michelle for example, she admitted to watching the show before her boyfriend came home.

"It's on DVR so the other person can watch it, I don't have to tell you what is on there," she said.

Her boyfriend was mad, but she said she doesn't care.

Cynthia says she has never participated in the behavior and she offers advice to people who do, "Grow up and get a life!"

Cahlil says his girlfriend watches shows without him.

"She waits 'til I get home and then tells me how good the show was," Cahlil said.

Edwinna of South Philly says, "it's more fun when I watch it with him."
