Flooding Displaces Residents In Delaware County

CHESTER, Pa., (CBS) – The remnants of Tropical Storm Andrea led to evacuations in Delaware County Friday night.

The American Red Cross is told about 50 families have been displaced due to flooding in Chester.

The Red Cross set up a shelter for residents at Showalter Junior High School, located at the 200 block of West 9th Street.

Residents did not arrive, so the shelter was closed at about 11 p.m.
