Eagles Sign Third Round Pick Bennie Logan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles have signed third round pick Bennie Logan to a four-year contract, the team announced today.

A 2012 All-SEC second-team selection at defensive tackle by the Associated Press, Logan (6-2, 309) was a key contributor on one of the nation's top defensive line units at LSU, tallying 107 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and five sacks during his three-year career. Logan, 23, appeared in all 13 games (12 starts) as a junior in 2012 and recorded 45 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two blocked field goals and three pass breakups for a defense that ranked in the top 10 in the country in run defense (ninth) and total defense (eighth).

The signing leaves Matt Barkley and Lane Johnson as the only two Eagles draft picks who remain unsigned.
