School Bus Attendant And Hall Monitor Arrested For Alleged Indecent Assault Of 14-Year-Old Girl

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 22-year-old school bus attendant and lunch monitor has been arrested after police say he allegedly indecently assaulted a teen girl - And it took place at the same West Philadelphia school where a five-year-old girl was abducted earlier this year.

Philadelphia Police say, in April, Christopher Robinson allegedly indecently assaulted a 14-year-old girl inside the Bryant Elementary schoolyard, located on the 6000 block of Cedar Street in West Philadelphia.

Three other female students also claim that Robinson used foul language when talking to them.

Officials from the School District of Philadelphia say Robinson was immediately removed from the school the day of the alleged incident.  He was reassigned to a bus depot where he is not in contact with students.

School District officials say Robinson is still an employee of the school.  He is scheduled to have a personnel action meeting next week.

Authorities say Robinson is charged with Corruption of Minors, Contact with Minor and Indecent Assault.

Police say the incident is very different from the January abduction of a five-year-old girl that took place at Bryant Elementary; this case there was no similar security breach.
