Man Shot 5 Times In Mantua

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after a man was shot five times in Mantua Friday night.

The incident happened at about 8:49 p.m. at N. 32nd Street and Haverford Avenue.

Philadelphia Police say the man was shot five times in the abdomen. He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by police. There is no word on his condition at this time.

Authorities say an 18-year-old male suspect is in custody after a foot chase with police.
