On Sundays, June 2 and 9, The Refinery will host a Victory Beer Dinner that includes:

  • Four courses all paired with a different Victory Beer
  • All menu items are a beer-based dish such as a Victory Pils-battered soft shell crab, a grilled-mesquite skirt steak marinated in Victory Hop Devil and the tomato salad dish below
  • Cost is $40 and guests need to RSVP in advance by calling the number on www.sugarhouserocks.com

Friday marks the Philly Beer Week kick-off with the Hammer of Glory touring across city bars. The casino’s double decker bus will be the official mode of transportation for the Hammer, and guests can ride the bus, too, to hop from bar to bar. It will stop at SugarHouse at 1:45 p.m., when they’ll be serving craft beers and dollar dogs.

Heirloom Tomato Salad Recipe:

1-2 heirloom tomatoes
2 oz Manchego, macerated in Victory V12 beer
1/2 Vidalia onion
10-12 oil-cured olives
1 scallion
Red spice mélange
Sea salt


1 charred jalapeño
1/2 lime
1 oz Rose’s lime juice
1 oz lime tequila
1 oz white balsamic
1 oz extra virgin olive oil
