NJ Man Gets Nearly 12 Years For Possessing Porn Involving Infants, Toddlers

MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) — A northern New Jersey man who had more than 46,000 images of child pornography on his home computer and other electronic devices has been sentenced to nearly 12 years in federal prison.

Thirty-nine-year-old Khalil Survey of Lake Hiawatha was also ordered Wednesday to pay $300,000 in restitution to the victims. He also will be under lifetime supervision once he's freed from prison.

Survey had pleaded guilty in January to charges of possessing and distributing child porn, including hundreds of images that involved infants or toddlers and many others involving sadomasochistic abuse.

Prosecutors say the images and numerous videos were found when authorities searched Survey's home last summer. They also found photographs Survey had taken of himself downloading child pornography onto his home computer.
