Gloucester County EMS To Serve New Town Starting In June

HARRISON TWP., N.J. (CBS) – Officials have announced that the Gloucester County Emergency Medical Services will being handling emergency medical services in Harrison Township in June.

"The county extends an invitation each year to the municipalities who have not joined GCEMS so we can plan for them coming into the system. We are pleased that Harrison has decided to join GCEMS and we are confident that they will be pleased with the level of professional service they receive," said Freeholder Director Damminger.

Officials say a crew from Gloucester County Emergency Medical Services, New Jersey's first and only county based EMS agency, will be stationed at Harmony Fire House in Mullica Hill on Main Street.

GCEMS currently provides services to Clayton, Elk, Glassboro, Pitman, Mantua, Logan, West Deptford, Paulsboro, South Harrison, Swedesboro, East Greenwich, Woolwich, National Park, Greenwich, Wenonah and the City of Woodbury.
