PINE HILL, N.J. (CBS) – Officials in Camden County are asking motorists to avoid Erial Road due to an oil spill in the area.

The incident occurred at about 1 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Officials sent out a message asking citizens to avoid Erial-Clementon Road and Erial-New Brooklyn Road down to Jarvis Road in Pine Hill, Clementon and parts of Gloucester Township due to an oil spill.

Officials say the spill may have come from an Mid States Oil Truck.

A hazardous materials crew is on scene for cleanup.
