Police Seek Pair In Berwyn, Pa. Child-Luring Probe

By Brad Segall

BERWYN, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Chester County have released a sketch of a man they want to talk to in connection with a possible child luring late Friday afternoon in Easttown Township.

The Main Line has been plagued by a number of these reports over the last several weeks. The latest was shortly before 4pm Friday afternoon in Berwyn.

Two ten-year-old girls told police they were walking home from their bus stop on Bartholomew Road when a man in a white Jeep Grand Cherokee with dark tinted windows engaged them in conversation and asked if they wanted a ride.

Both girls fled to a neighbor's house.

Police describe the man in the passenger seat as a black male in his late teens, clean shaven and with short hair.  They did not get a description of the driver.

There have been other reports of suspicious activity involving children in Wayne and Radnor, but police say the description in this latest case does not match any of those incidents.
