Eagles Sign Rookie Tight End Will Shaw, Release Miguel Maysonet
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles signed rookie free-agent tight end Will Shaw, and released rookie running back Miguel Maysonet, the team announced Monday.
Shaw played at Youngstown State, and played tight end for the first time full-time in 2012, after playing safety and linebacker previously. Shaw caught 35 passes for 429 yards and five touchdowns in 2012.
Maysonet attended Stony Brook University, where he rushed for 1,964 yards in 2012 and scored 21 touchdowns.
