Roy Halladay Has Sucessful Shoulder Surgery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies have issued the following update on Roy Halladay's shoulder surgery:
Roy Halladay had successful shoulder surgery [Wednesday]. He had an arthroscopic evlauation and underwent debridement of his labrum and rotator cuff as well as a removal of an inflamed bursa. He'll begin a progressive rehabilitation program and if all goes well he may possibly begin a throwing program in 6-8 weeks.
Halladay originally said the surgery could keep him sidelined for two to three months.
