PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One expert says there are six foods that can help with the appearance of your hair, nails and skin.

According to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, Dr. Andrew Weil, M.D. says research has shown that a balanced diet filled with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals will help enhance your beauty from the inside.

He suggests eating salmon, dark leafy greens, beans, whole grains, nuts and fruits which will give you vitamins and minerals such as zinc, omega-3 fatty acids and biotin.
