1 Hospitalized In North Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 39-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting in North Philadelphia Tuesday night.

The incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. on the 2400 block of Redner Street.

Chopper 3 HD was over the scene.

Philadelphia Police say the victim was shot twice in the right leg by two men on bikes.

Authorities say one suspect was wearing an army fatigue jacket.  The other suspect was wearing a black jacket with red stripes.

Both suspects were last seen going eastbound on Redner Street.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital.  He is listed in stable condition.

The incident remains under investigation.

There are no arrests at this time.
