6th Annual Utley All-Star Animals Casino Night

Utley All-Star Animals

Philadelphia Phillies' Second Baseman Chase Utley and wife, Jennifer Utley, will host the 6th Annual Utley All-Star Animals Casino Night on May 15, 2013 at the Electric Factory (421 N. 7th Street, Philadelphia, PA). With top sponsor J & J Snack Foods Corp. and Shreiber Animal Foundation Enterprise, the invitation-only event welcomes guests to take a stand against animal cruelty, as proceeds from the event will benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA).

Animal lovers, sponsors, and supporters will join the Utley's at the Electric Factory for a night full of cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres provided by Stephen Starr Events, live and silent auctions, and casino fun. Led by co-masters of ceremony, Michael Barkann of Comcast SportsNet and Susan Barnett of CBS 3/The CW, guests will play table games alongside local celebrities and players from the 2013 Philadelphia Phillies. Past attendees have included: Roy Halladay, Cole Hamels, Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, Cliff Lee, John Mayberry, Kyle Kendrick, and Ruben Amaro, Jr.

The top three casino winners will receive:
· 1st prize – $10,000 shopping spree at Bernie Robbins Jewelers
· 2nd prize – HIFI House complete home entertainment package
· 3rd prize – Kimpton getaway package to include a two-night stay at Hotel Monaco Philadelphia with dinner for two at Red Owl Tavern
Table game players will not be the only ones going home with exciting prizes; guests will test their luck bidding on one-of-a-kind live and silent auction items, to include Philadelphia Phillies memorabilia, hand-painted dog statues autographed by the Phillies players, and more.

Proceeds from the 6th Annual Utley All-Star Animals Casino Night will benefit the PSPCA, specifically the Etana Fund to Stop Cruelty Against Animals. As the sole organization in Philadelphia dedicated to fighting animal cruelty, the PSPCA's Etana Fund helps to prevent and protect against future abuse and neglect through their Humane Law Enforcement department. In 2012, the department investigated nearly 10,000 complaints of animal cruelty in Pennsylvania, and rescued approximately 2,000 animals from abusive situations.
