WIP Morning Show Winners And Weasels For May 10, 2013
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The WIP Morning Show announced its Winners And Weasels for the week of May 10, 2013.
Angelo's winner: Kyle Kendrick for another strong outing on Tuesday against the Giants, as Kendrick went seven innings while allowing only six hits and two earned runs as the Phillies beat the Giants 6-2. Kendrick is now 4-1 with a 2.45 ERA on the season.
Angelo's weasel: Ruben Amaro Jr. for saying he is "fine" with Roy Halladay not being honest and informing anyone about his shoulder pain.
Caller winner (approved by Rhea Hughes): Matt Kemp for giving an autograph ball, his cap, his jersey, and his cleats to a fan after a game. The fan is suffering from inoperable tumors in his spine and has been given 90 days to live.
Caller weasel (approved by Al Morganti): Angel Hernandez on his missed home run call on Wednesday night, even after watching it on replay.
