Television Falls On 2-Year-Old In Cedarbrook
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 2-year-old was rushed to the hospital after a 40-inch television fell on the child Wednesday.
The incident happened at about 4 p.m. on the 1100 block of East Sydney Street in Cedarbrook.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene as Philadelphia Police responded to the incident.
Eyewitness News is told the father walked out of the bathroom and found his son underneath the television. The child was bleeding from the ears.
Officials say the child was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center with head and abdomen pain. The child is conscious and alert and listed in stable condition.
The 2-year-old is now at Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children.
