PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Are you worried about your dog gaining weight? There's a new tool that can help!

According to CNET, FitBark, which is like Fitbit for pets, allows pet owners to keep track of how active their furry friend is by storing data in a tracker and then pushing that data to an app on their smartphone.

The app then allows you to see when and how much your dog is walking and calculates their "BarkScore," a number that tells you if your dog has met its daily goal, says the company.
