Leonard Weaver To Retire An Eagle

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Leonard Weaver will officially retire on Tuesday, as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Weaver, who played six seasons in the NFL, has not played since suffering a knee injury in the 2010 season.

Weaver was voted first team All-NFL for his 2009 season with the Eagles, when he rushed for 323 yards on 70 carries, and scored four touchdowns.

Though Weaver spent only one full season with the Eagles, he has remained ingrained in the Eagles community and remains a fan favorite.
