Survey Says Men Fake It Too, Author Says It's For Good Reasons

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 2012 survey found that 39 percent of American men have faked having an orgasm at least once.

According to the survey, done by Ask Men, 16 percent of men said they had faked an orgasm during intercourse once while 23 percent said they had faked it on more than one occasion.

But a new book, by Dr. Abraham Morgentaler, explains that men are faking orgasms to benefit their partners.

In an interview with Salon, Dr. Morgentaler explained how some men fake it so their partners don't think they are doing a bad job while others may have issues, such as premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction.
