PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Using sports to promote social change is the mission of a global organization known as Beyond Sport.

Flanked by local legends Brian Dawkins and Dekembe Mutombo, Mayor Nutter announced that the Eagles will host the summit with the support of the Philadelphia Sports Congress, the 76ers, Flyers, Phillies and Union.

The summit will be held from September 9th-11th.
It will be the first summit held in the US since Chicago was the host city in 2010.
