Teen Sought In March Murder In Pottstown, Pa.

By Brad Segall

POTTSTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Authorities in Montgomery County, Pa. say a manhunt is underway for a teenager, who may be armed, suspected in connection with a deadly shooting outside a bar in Pottstown last month.

Police are looking for 19-year-old Maurice Andrews, who is known to hang out in Philadelphia, Norristown, and Pottstown.

Andrews, along with his cousin Michael Hinton, are charged with murdering Victor Baez outside Brian's Café on March 22nd.

Montgomery County district attorney Risa Ferman says this was a targeted killing.

"They were waiting for the victim to come out of the bar," Ferman said today.  "He came out by himself, unarmed.  At that point in time both of the triggermen pulled their guns on him and started firing."

Hinton was also hit in the crossfire, and police were able to track the injured man to an alley in Pottstown.  He was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is now behind bars.

Police are still investigating a motive, but they say Andrews may have tried to kidnap the victim's nephew the day before and may have been worried that Baez would try to retaliate.
