Police: Man Had $1M In Heroin On Pennsylvania Turnpike
SOMERSET, Pa. (AP) -- Prosecutors plan a news conference on a Pennsylvania Turnpike traffic stop during which state police troopers say they found $1 million worth of heroin in a Pittsburgh man's car.
Online court records don't list an attorney for Warren Green IV who was stopped for speeding in Somerset Township Friday morning.
Police say they found 1,000 bricks of heroin in his car, valued at about $1 million on the street.
Green has been ordered held in the Somerset County Jail after he was unable to post $750,000 bond on charges including possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin.
The county district attorney planned to discuss the case on Monday afternoon.
