Police Release Sketch Of Attempted Child Luring Suspect In Wayne

WAYNE, Pa. (CBS) – Police have released a sketch of the suspect believed to have tried to lure two children in Wayne, Pennsylvania. (see related story)

The incident occurred in the Strafford section of Wayne on March 26 between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

According to police, the suspect drove pass two children as they played on lawn of their home, then turned around and stopped.

Allegedly, the driver called to one of the children two times and told him to get in the van, but the children walked away and the suspect left the area.

The suspect has been described as a 40 to 50-year-old, white male with short, black, cropped hair with bangs, light colored eyes and a tan complexion. Police say the suspect may have a Hispanic accent.

The vehicle has been described as a light blue minivan with a dark gray front bumper, possibly a Honda Odyssey or similar looking vehicle.
