Several Displaced After Fire In West Philadelphia


PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Fire officials say several people have been displaced after an overnight fire in West Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on the 6000 block of Pine Street, in the Cobbs Creek section of the city, just after midnight.

According to officials, the fire began on the second floor of the three-story house and was placed under control at 12:27 a.m.

No injuries have been reported. One family, three women and one male, have been displaced and are being helped by The American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania and Red Paw.
