Early Morning House Fire Leaves 1 Dead In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities are investigating a fatal fire that broke out early Friday morning in the Kensington section of the city.
Fire officials say one person was killed and a neighbor injured in the fire that broke out at about 1:55 a.m. in a two-story row home in the 3300 block of Jasper Street.
The fire was placed under control at 2:17 a.m.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and the condition of the injured victim was not immediately available.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
