Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Introduce Urinal Gaming
By Spike Eskin
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – There are a lot of things I like about my job. I've got to say that writing a headline called "Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs Introduce Urinal Gaming," is one of the things right at the top of that list.
In the bathrooms at Coca-Cola Park, where the Iron Pigs play their home games, will introduce urinal gaming to their men's restrooms.
This is how it works:
"These games are sure to make a huge splash," IronPigs General Manager Kurt Landes. said in a press release. "Our fans are always looking for the next big thing and these 'X-Stream games' are another example of our commitment to providing an unparalleled entertainment experience in all aspects of Coca-Cola Park, including our restrooms."
When fans are finished "playing," they're given a final score and an opportunity to see how their score compares to other users.
I've got to say, this sounds a lot more entertaining than "make pretend there aren't a bunch of people surrounding me, relax," and "ugh, why does it smell THAT bad?," the games I normally play at the urinal.
